Darlene Bourk

There is just so much I don’t understand,
so much pain, so many lies.
I will always love you but…
I will never like you.
I pray to God that our children grow up to be
non-violent.

When I’m feeling down, I stop to count my blessings,
always remembering to focus on what I do have
my health, my children’s health…
There are always blessings to count.
Sometimes we just need to stop and count them.
